NHL Hockey season is in full swing as the teams approach the 20 games mark.
Here in New Jersey, the local teams have had mixed results thus far.
After a season they’d all like to forget, the Philadelphia Flyers got off to a quick start this season thanks largely to the addition of both Daniel Briere and Joffrey Lupul.
Out on Long Island, the NY Islanders are also off to a fast start. GM Garth Snow overhauled the roster in the off season. The three new comers Mike Comrie, Billy Guerin and Ruslan Fedotenko are all playing well and the subtraction of Alexei Yashin hasn’t hurt, either.
Entering the season with lofty expectations, the New York Rangers got off to a slow start but the team is coming around. Goaltender Henrik Lundqvist has been outstanding and the return of Sean Avery from injury has added an edge to their game that has the Rangers rolling along now. As always, NY Rangers tickets are extremely popular this season as nothing short of a Stanley Cup will satisfy the Garden faithful.
Finally, right here in New Jersey, the NJ Devils have opened up the Prudential Center after opening the season with a daunting extended game road trip. They too are starting to come around after a slow start. Select-A-Ticket has NJ Devils tickets at the Prudential Center.
